# `import_contacts`

Import contacts.

Adds or updates 1 to 500 contacts. An address appears only once per audience. An invalid batch is refused as a whole. Triggers no send.

## Access

- **Key**: an Escouade Mail key with `send`.
- **Space**: a verified space.
- **Changes nothing**: no, it acts.
- **Safe to replay**: use an `idempotency_key` where the tool offers one.

## Parameters

| `contacts` | list of object | yes | The contacts to add or update (1 to 500): address, name, fields and tags. |
