verify_domain

View as .md

Verify your domain.

Checks the domain’s records in the DNS and returns the state of each one: found, missing, or a different value (with the value seen). The domain is verified when the proof of ownership, both DKIM keys, the SPF and the MX are right; DMARC is recommended, not required. A DNS change sometimes takes a few minutes to show: fix it, then call again. A verified domain is checked again every day; if its records disappear, it is suspended and its inboxes stop sending. It is reinstated on its own once the DNS is back (checked every hour), or straight away through verify_domain.

Access

  • Key: an Escouade Mail key with manage_inboxes.
  • Space: a verified space.
  • Changes nothing: no, it acts.
  • Safe to replay: yes.
