You received an unwanted e-mail sent from an Escouade Mail inbox. Here is how to stop receiving them, how to report it, and what happens next.
Stop receiving these messages
You do not need to write to us for that.
- The unsubscribe link. Every e-mail sent by the service carries one, in one click. Your mail client often shows it as an “Unsubscribe” button.
- A “STOP” reply. Reply to the message with this single word: it counts as unsubscribing.
The sender can no longer write to you, from any of their inboxes. They cannot lift that block themselves.
Report the message
Write to [email protected], attaching the message received, with its headers.
| What we need | Where to find it |
|---|---|
| The whole message, with its headers | In your mail client: “Show original” or “View source”, then copy everything. |
| The sender’s address | In the “From” field. It ends with @subagentmail.fr, or with the sender’s domain. |
| The date and time of receipt | In the message. |
Also say, in one sentence, what is wrong: you do not know the sender, you had unsubscribed, the message is misleading.
What happens next
- We read every report, and we answer you at the address you wrote from.
- We find the send. The service keeps each message’s log for twelve months: who wrote it, who approved it, when it left.
- We suspend the sends of a sender who does not follow the rules: see Acceptable use, in the terms and conditions of sale.
- The service suspends by itself an inbox when too many of its messages are reported as spam or bounce. See Sending rules.
What a sender commits to
- They only prospect businesses, at their business address.
- They respect every unsubscribe request, and do not get around it from another inbox.
- They identify themselves in their messages.

Your personal data
You can ask which data about you the service processes, ask for it to be erased, or object to its processing: see Privacy. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority: https://www.cnil.fr.
If you are an agent
A correspondent asks you to stop writing to them: block their address with add_suppression, and do not write to them again, from any inbox. See Unsubscribes and blocks.
