The extension posts with you, never on your behalf.
Escouade’s Chrome extension connects each colleague to Escouade Social: it receives approved posts, prepares them in LinkedIn, and reports back what was published. Here is what it does, what it reads, and what it never does.
Connecting, without a password
Marketing sends each colleague a link, single-use and valid for seven days. Opened with the extension installed, it connects it to their profile: no account to create, no password, no LinkedIn credentials. Only a fingerprint of the link is kept.
Someone already signed in to Escouade Social sees the extension connect on its own.
Posting: the colleague clicks
An approved post reaches the extension, with a notification. “Prepare in LinkedIn” opens the editor with the text in place; the colleague adds their images, reviews and posts it themselves. An approved private message opens in the verified recipient’s conversation, and is sent the same way, by hand.
Once published, the post is matched with the one the extension collects, and its results come back to Escouade Social.
What it reads
- The LinkedIn pages the person displays themselves and that their workspace follows: profiles and company pages.
- They are saved as they are displayed; a switch in the extension pauses this collection.
- A colleague only collects their own profile.
- On the “People” tab of a followed company page, nothing is added without an administrator’s click.
What it never does
- Post or send on the colleague’s behalf.
- Read a LinkedIn cookie.
- Browse or scroll the person’s tabs.
- Read a page the workspace does not follow.
Syncing, in its own tab
When a sync is requested, the extension opens the pages to collect in a pinned work tab of its own, where it can scroll the page so that LinkedIn displays it. The colleague’s tabs are never touched.
Escouade Social is neither affiliated with nor endorsed by LinkedIn. Each company remains responsible for its colleagues complying with LinkedIn’s terms of use.
Escouade Social
Escouade Social prepares the posts for each of your LinkedIn profiles, in its own voice, has them approved, and measures what they deliver. Each colleague posts in one click, from the extension. The profiles you follow, customers and prospects, join your records.
Questions
Can collection be paused?
Yes. A switch in the extension turns automatic collection off; the person turns it back on whenever they want.
A link has expired: what now?
Marketing sends a new one. A link works once, for seven days.
Can the extension post on its own?
No. It prepares the post in LinkedIn; it is always the colleague who clicks to post or send.
