Recording a meeting
On a video call, the bot joins the meeting through its link, at the scheduled time, from the calendars you follow, whether you are there or not, including when it is organised by a customer or a partner. For an impromptu meeting, paste its link.
It appears in the list of participants, followed by your name, or under the name you give it in your settings. If a waiting room is enabled, the organiser must let it in: until they do, nothing is recorded, and the meeting’s record says so.
In person, the phone’s recorder has the participants’ consent confirmed, then records. It keeps the recording on the device until it is sent.
The participants’ consent
Tell the participants: obtaining their consent is up to you, whether you are present or not, and the bot’s visible presence does not replace it. In person, the recorder asks you to confirm this consent before starting.
On a video call, the bot announces itself in the meeting chat: if someone answers “no” there, it stops recording and leaves. This is not possible on a platform where it cannot write in the chat, nor when the platform closes the chat to it, for example a chat reserved for the organisation’s accounts. From the meeting’s record, you remove it on every platform, and the organiser can remove it like any participant.
By default, the organiser of a meeting you do not organise receives an email, once, telling them the bot will come and how to refuse it.
Which tools
Google and Outlook calendars, or Microsoft 365, read without ever being changed, with the choice of the calendars followed. Meetings on five video-conferencing platforms, joined through their link. An impromptu meeting is added by pasting its link.
The minutes
At the end of the meeting, the minutes are ready: the decisions, the actions and who owns them, in French. Five templates write them according to the meeting: general, team meeting, customer meeting, recruitment, site meeting.
They are written by an AI model from the text of the transcript: the audio is not sent to it. The quality of the transcript depends on the sound, the number of voices and the trade’s vocabulary; no rate is promised, and the full transcript stays next to the minutes, to check a sentence.
Asking and finding
Ask a question about your meetings: the answer cites the meeting it comes from. Search finds by meaning as well as by exact words, and when the information is missing, the answer says so.
As a team
Each meeting stays private until you share it; sharing can be withdrawn at any time. Your organisation’s members are invited from the Escouade account, and the plan covers the whole team, with no per-user price.
Your data
By default, nothing is deleted: meetings, transcripts and minutes are kept with no limit. You can choose 30 days, 90 days or a year in the settings. The audio and video are kept for as long as the meeting.
A deleted meeting spends seven days in the bin, then all its copies are erased. Each meeting can be exported as Markdown or JSON.
Price and cancelling
Meet is included in every Escouade plan, with no per-user price. The free trial includes one recorded meeting of at most two hours, once per organisation; after that, each size comes with a usage allowance, and credits take over beyond it.
Cancelling means returning to the Free plan, at any time, from the account’s Billing page: the days elapsed remain due, nothing else, and no data is deleted.

Escouade Meet

Does the bot join a meeting on its own?

Does Meet understand French well?
Meet is designed in French, and the minutes are written in French. No accuracy rate is promised: the full transcript stays next to the minutes.
How do I cancel?
From the account’s Billing page, by returning to the Free plan, at any time: no data is deleted, and each meeting can be exported.
